Questions, bug reports and feature ideas are all welcome — one email is enough. Habit's is a small project, and every message reaches the person who builds it.

We usually reply within a few business days. There is no contact form on purpose: the habit tracker has no backend, so your message goes straight from your mail app to our inbox without passing through a third-party form service.

Quick answers before you write

Where is my data? In your browser on this device only. See the privacy policy — we never receive your habits.
I cleared my browser and lost my habits. If you saved a JSON backup from Profile → Your data, restore it there. If not, they cannot be recovered — we have no copy to send you.
Where are streaks and stats? Open the Calendar view for the month grid and Insights for completion rates and trends. The home page's guide and FAQ walk through every feature.
How do reminders work? Set a time on a habit and allow browser notifications when prompted — they are scheduled locally on your device.

Reporting a bug

The fastest way to get a fix is to include:

Browser and device — e.g. Chrome 130 on Windows 11, or Safari on iPhone.
What you expected vs. what happened — a sentence each is plenty.
Steps to reproduce — what you clicked, in order.
A screenshot or short video attached to the email, if you have one.

Habit's has no accounts, so please never send passwords — we could not use them, and we will never ask for one.

Feature requests, press and everything else

Missing a habit tracker template export, a printable habit tracker layout, or an insight you would love to see? Tell us what you are trying to do, not just what to build — the use case matters most. Press, partnership and academic enquiries use the same address.
