Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 18 October 2026
These terms govern your use of Habit's, the free habit tracker available at habits-f5d.pages.dev. By opening or using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please stop using the site and clear the data stored in your browser.
1. About the service
Habit's is a free, browser-based habit tracker. It has no user accounts, no subscription and no paid tier. It is provided by an independent operator ("Habit's", "we", "us") in good faith to help you record and review daily habits, streaks and progress.
2. Eligibility and acceptance
You must be legally able to agree to these terms in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you. Continued use of the habit tracker after any update to this page constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
3. Your data and your responsibility for it
Because there is no account, there is no password and no server copy of your habits — everything is stored locally in your browser. That also means you are responsible for it: clearing your browser data, switching to a different browser or device, or using private browsing can remove your habit history permanently.
We provide backup and restore tools (download a JSON backup, and on supported browsers, automatic file saving) precisely so that you can protect your own records. We cannot recover lost habits, because we never receive them. Please keep a backup if your streaks matter to you. See the privacy policy for full details.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the site for any unlawful purpose or to encourage unlawful activity;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the site or its hosting infrastructure;
- scrape, resell or republish the site's code, design or content as your own service;
- upload or transmit content through any channel we provide that infringes others' rights;
- use the site to harass, threaten or harm any person.
We may restrict access to the site if these rules are broken, though in practice we have no accounts to suspend — the only realistic remedy is blocking abusive traffic at the hosting level.
5. Health and habit disclaimer
Habit's is a productivity and organisation tool. It is not medical, psychological, nutritional or professional advice, and it is not a treatment or tracking device for any condition. Streaks, completion rates and insights are motivational statistics, not guarantees of results or measures of your worth.
If you are changing your diet, exercise, sleep, medication or any health-related routine, speak with a qualified professional first. Never ignore professional advice because a habit tracker told you that you had a good week.
6. Intellectual property
The site's design, written content, branding, logos and source code are owned by or licensed to Habit's and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the habit tracker for tracking your own habits. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the product without obligation or compensation to you.
7. Third-party services
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and requests web fonts from Google Fonts. Those providers process requests under their own terms and privacy policies. Any link to an external site is provided for convenience; we do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products or practices.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The habit tracker is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times, nor that it will suit every purpose you have in mind.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Habit's shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of habits, streaks, profits, goodwill or data, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (nothing, because the service is free) or USD 100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Changes to the service or these terms
We may modify, suspend or discontinue features of the habit tracker at any time. We may also update these terms; the revision date at the top of this page will change when we do. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the country where the service is published, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before starting any formal proceeding, please contact us — most misunderstandings about a free habit tracker are solved with one email. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the courts with jurisdiction over that place, unless consumer protection law in your country requires otherwise.
